Looking for the Celts

The Duchess of Mecklenburg straightens her back,
surveys her fellow enthusiasts,
all digging in soft Salzkammergut rain.
She swaps her mattock for a favourite pick,
glances up at the Hallstatt peak
then, rested, tackles the grave again...

some lines from Gwyneth Lewis; there are more and it's worth reading

Hoping you and Holly will return with as much enthusiasm about your trip as I had about Ireland. You might have a new subscriber to TMP. I sat next to a nice fellow from Wisconsin on the flight home. He loves poetry so I gave him your website. His name is Dennis Rude.
