					<description>It's nice to quote the song, but I wish  you hadn't given me so much explanation... or felt you needed to, as you salute the (mysterious) id. (Hey! this is making me kind of poetic.)

Shakespeare  didn't tell me &quot;this is my attempt to portray a morose Danish Prince whose Oedipus complex may have confused his sex life and his sense of revenge for his father's murder.&quot;  he just laid out his vision so I could share it if I wanted to.

Maybe the poem should contain whatever explanation you feel is needed, thereby standing more on it's own two feet.  Anyway, that was my first reaction.
