Homer, indeed, has a number of meanings. Lately, I associate it most with Dan Patrick's &quot;Homer Call of the Week&quot; on ESPN Radio - a regular feature with audio of local sportscasters going insane over a long touchdown, a buzzer-beater, or some other home-team heroic.
